The internal construction is 100% fire-brick, providing hours of cooking time. The oven also contains over 50mm of ceramic fibre insulation surrounding the fire bricks. The insulation is so effective that while internal temperatures can reach 1000 deg C, the outside cladding only reaches 35-40 deg C. These ovens are very safe for kids and the unwary.
